Shana has dedicated her entire career to advancing the mission of Catholic education. Shana joins Partners in Mission after concluding a 27-year career at Padua Academy in Wilmington, DE. Inspired by her students and colleagues, Shana converted to Catholicism in 2000 and strives to carry the joy and light of Jesus to everyone she meets. Driven by her personal mission, Shana is committed to inspiring and empowering others in Catholic education, sharing the “Good News” of Catholic schools, and finding and placing leaders where they can be of the most service.
In her tenure at Padua Academy, Shana served as an English teacher, Student Council moderator, Director of Advancement and Communication, and, most recently, Director of Admission and Alumnae. Over the years, she has co-led the strategic planning steering committee as well as subcommittees for reaccreditation, served on several hiring search committees, and served on the Diocese of Wilmington COVID-19 Task Force as a member of the Community Committee establishing protocol for a safe return to school in 2020. Working closely with Board members, alumnae, and stakeholders, Shana has earned the reputation of being a strong leader, eager collaborator, effective communicator, and enthusiastic champion of Catholic education.
In her role, Shana is able to harness her years of experience in various realms of Catholic education and ministry to help schools find their next leaders. An attentive listener, keen observer, and natural integrator, Shana represents her clients with enthusiasm and great care, ensuring a successful search and placement.
